SIMSCAN Gen2

The SIMSCAN-S Gen2 and SIMSCAN-E Gen2 are palm-sized 3D scanning solutions designed for fast, accurate capture of complex parts and detailed geometries. The supplied configurations combine multiple blue-laser scanning modes with scanning rates up to 8,100,000 measurements/s and scanning areas up to 700 mm × 600 mm.

Both models provide ultra-fast scanning, hyperfine scanning, and deep hole scanning modes, supporting dimensional inspection and 3D data capture across challenging geometries.

The SIMSCAN-S Gen2 delivers an accuracy of 0.015 mm, supported by enhanced optics and advanced algorithms for dimensional and surface geometry measurement.

Its supplied performance specifications include:

• Volumetric Accuracy: 0.015 + 0.03 mm/m
• Sphericity: 0.025mm
• Flatness: 0.035mm

Performance is evaluated according to ISO 10360-13 standard, VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3 and JJF1951 specification, with ISO 17025 accredited evaluation stated in the supplied information.

When paired with a high-precision scale bar, Adaptive Photgrammetry provides 0.015 mm + 0.012 mm/m according to the supplied specification.

Compact Wireless Operation

The SIMSCAN-S Gen2 combines a compact ergonomic design with a detachable charging base and an intuitive display for real-time monitoring during scanning.

Its magnesium-alloy housing weighs just 560 g, supporting handheld operation in confined spaces and at height. Edge computing and wireless data transfer enable fully wireless scanning, while the short-baseline camera design helps capture difficult geometries such as:
