The AM-CELL C Series is an automated optical 3D inspection system that combines a 3D scanner, robot, 3D digitization software, and a central control platform. It automates path planning, measurement, analysis, and reporting while supporting flexible layouts, multi-positioner operation, and DefinSight-powered MES/QMS integration.

The AM-CELL C Series is an automated optical 3D inspection system combining a 3D scanner, robot, 3D digitization software, and central control platform for complex parts and medium-to-large structural components. Powered by DefinSight 3D software, it automates the inspection workflow from path planning and measurement through analysis and reporting.
Its modular architecture supports flexible layouts, multi-positioner operations, and turntable payloads from 200–1000 kg, enabling automated inspection of metal sheets, die-cast parts, welded assemblies, battery packs, and other components.
Automated Measurement & Process Control
- Automated inspection workflow: DefinSight and parallel processing automate path planning, measurement, and analysis.
- Simulation & validation: Digital Measurement Room (DMR) provides virtual path planning and collision simulation without programming skills.
- Non-contact optical measurement: Automatically recognizes holes, slots, and edges, supporting automated part identification, scanning, and report generation.
- Smart error-proofing: Vision-based verification checks part type, placement, and clamping to prevent mis-scans or misoperations.
- Quality monitoring: Integrated SPC and trend analysis modules track production fluctuations and support traceable quality management.
- MES/QMS integration: Measurement and inspection data can be integrated directly with MES/QMS systems.
- Scalable configuration: Standard modular units allow deployment from a single inspection station to full production-line integration.
High-Precision Optical Inspection
The AM-CELL C Series uses high-precision sensors and automatic calibration to maintain consistent measurements under shop-floor conditions. Supported next-generation optical 3D scanners achieve up to 0.020 mm accuracy at 6.63 million measurements/s.
Multi-dimensional environmental sensors monitor temperature, humidity, and lighting, enabling unattended self-calibration without human intervention.
