Mini Prism for Reference Sphere Set

Overview

The Mini Prism is intended for projects that require a high degree of measurement accuracy or the integration of scanned data into an existing coordinate system. Because the prism center matches the center of compatible reference spheres, reference sphere positions can be measured and aligned accurately.

• Prism constant: k = -34.4 mm (Leica: 0)
• Forced centering by screwing onto:
  • M8 threaded bolts
  • Magnetic base of compatible reference spheres
• Prism center is identical to the center of compatible reference spheres

Purpose of Use

• Measuring reference spheres with a total station
• Measuring the center point of reference spheres for highly accurate measurement results
• Positioning scanned objects within an existing coordinate system, including:
  • Hall coordinate systems
  • Factory coordinate systems
  • National coordinate systems

• All commercially available total stations that support a prism constant of -34.4 mm (mini prism round)
