The Tripod for Horizontal Scanning is designed for secure laser scanning of facades, windows, roofscapes, parapets, and hard-to-reach areas. Its horizontal arm allows scanners to be positioned outside openings while remaining safely operated from inside the building, making it ideal for facade documentation, bridge inspection, and elevator shaft scanning.
Overview
The Tripod for Horizontal Scanning extends the reach of laser scanning systems by allowing scanners to be safely positioned outside windows, dormers, and other building openings. This enables efficient capture of facades, roof structures, parapets, and other areas that are difficult to document using a conventional tripod setup.
The horizontal arm features dedicated mounting positions for both standard and overhead scanning, allowing upper and lower areas to be captured while maintaining stability and minimizing vibrations. The tripod is supplied in a transport box and can be separated into individual components for easier transportation when required.
