Overview
The RIEGL VUX-240 is a lightweight airborne laser scanner offering a wide 75° field of view, laser pulse repetition rates of up to 2.4 MHz, and faster scanning speed for increased field performance and workflow efficiency.
A continuously rotating polygon mirror wheel enables scan speeds of up to 600 lines per second, allowing efficient coverage of large areas when operated from UAS/UAV/RPAS, crewed airplanes, or helicopters.
The scanner utilizes RIEGL Waveform-LiDAR technology, providing echo signal digitization and online waveform processing. Its multi-target capability supports penetration through dense foliage.
The system includes 2 TByte internal SSD storage and provides interfaces for an external IMU/GNSS system as well as support for up to four external cameras.
