AprilTag Technology
AprilTags are visual control point markers used for positioning and recognition tasks in photogrammetry, robotics, and augmented reality. AprilTag recognition software can determine the marker’s identity and orientation relative to a camera, enabling precise 3D position calculation. The coding system is based on an optimized lexicographic design and is designed to perform reliably under varying viewing angles and lighting conditions.
