The API Dynamic 9D LADAR is a high-speed, non-contact measurement system using Optical Frequency Chirping Interferometry (OFCI) to capture dimensional and surface geometry data in real time. Available as LD-8, LD-15, and LD-25, it provides measuring ranges up to 25 m, a maximum data rate of 20,000 Points/Second, and 3D accuracy of 25μm + 6μm/m (2 sigma). It supports precision inspection, dimensional control, part measurement, tooling inspection, reverse engineering, and robotics applications.
API Dynamic 9D LADAR
The API Dynamic 9D LADAR is a non-contact measurement system designed to capture high-speed, high-accuracy dimensional and surface geometry data in real time. Using Optical Frequency Chirping Interferometry (OFCI) technology, the system supports precision measurement and inspection applications where rapid data acquisition and micron-level resolution are required.
The Dynamic 9D LADAR is available in three measuring ranges: LD-8, LD-15, and LD-25, supporting measurement volumes from 0.5 m up to 25 m, depending on the selected model.
High-Speed Non-Contact Measurement
API’s OFCI technology uses fast laser chirping to generate a wide spectrum for optical interference. The detected interference signal provides high measurement sensitivity while supporting rapid non-contact data acquisition.
